Write about a conversation that changed you. What was said, and why did that conversation have such a lasting impact on you?

A conversation that changed me was with my mom when she said I won’t be here forever. This changed me a lot because I had to learn that I won’t always have time with my mom and I need to take the time I have with her an enjoy it

something that you believed as a child.

Something I believe as a child was that if I don’t eat my vegetables I would not grow an my parents always told me that so I could eat an my be healthy

Troy’s complaint about the unfair job system shows his frustration with racial discrimination. How did this conversation make you think about fairness and opportunity in society today? If you were in Troy’s position, what would you do?

This conversation made me think about how fairness and opportunity are not always equal for everyone. Troy’s experience shows how racial discrimination can make it harder for people to get the opportunities they deserve. If I were in Troy’s position, I would speak up about the unfair treatment, keep working hard, and try to find a way to create better opportunities for myself and others.

Now that we have finished reading Fences and you are completing your final project, reflect on your overall understanding of the play. Which character, conflict, or theme has stood out to you the most, and why? Explain how your project represents what you learned about the play.

The character who stood out to me the most in Fences was Cory because of his conflict with his father, Troy. Cory wants to follow his dream of playing football, but Troy does not support him because of his own experiences with racism and discrimination. This shows how Troy’s past affects the way he treats his family. My project represents what I learned about the play because it shows the different conflicts between family members and how their choices can affect each other. Overall, Fences taught me that family relationships can be complicated, and sometimes people’s past experiences shape how they treat others.

Rose stuck out to me the most. Now the reason I say this is because rose has been through a lot with Troy and she still stayed. That’s the reason she stuck out to me because she always stuck by his side

At the end of Fences, forgiveness becomes an important part of the characters moving forward. Do you think forgiving someone means you also have to forget what they did? Why or why not? Connect your response to your own experiences or observations.

No I don’t think you will forget what they did. The reason I say this is because u can always forgive some one an always remember one they did to you to make you feel that way

Choose one character or scene that appeared differently in the movie than you imagined while reading

I would probably say Troy when he was fighting Cory I though it would be way more violence in the scene because the book made it seem way more different it just felt more intense from the book

Do you think one major lie or betrayal can permanently change how you see someone

I believe a major lie or betrayal can permanently change how a person views someone they once trusted. Once trust is broken, it can be difficult to rebuild because the person may begin questioning everything they were told before. Although trust can sometimes be restored through honesty, accountability, and consistent actions, the relationship may never be exactly the same. In some situations, forgiving someone is possible without fully trusting them again.

Should love encouragement , friendship, and support be expected, or are those things separate from a parent’s responsibilities

I  believe a parent owes their child love, encouragement, support, and guidance. Providing basic needs is important, but children also need to feel cared for and valued. Parents should encourage their children, listen to them, and support them when things get difficult. These are part of being a responsible parent because emotional support can help a child grow into a confident person.

Have you ever had to choose between something you wanted to do an something you needed to do

Yes I have. An what influence my choice was the thing that I need the most because if I needed it an it will value what ever I’m doing I’m going to get that instead of getting what I want

Do you parents have to like you

In my opinion your parents do not have to like you I feel like they just have to teach you that in the real world alot of people will not like you an that’s something as a young man or women that you have to learn that everyone will not like you

Do you think there adult children should ask there parents for money

I think that they should be able to. An I say this because some kids have struggles at some point if there life an some kids need help an if there parents can help them they should

Classmates mask presentation

It made me look at people different because everyone is different and you should always get to know some at a way deeper level

In missing your people Tracy Brower explains the importance of belonging. Describe a time when you felt like you truly belonged. What created that feeling

A time would be baseball camp for me. The reason I say this is because I was around people who all had the same goal an that is to go to college for baseball that’s why I felt like i belonged there because we all wanted the same goal in life.

Write about a fear you have to overcome

A fear that you have to over come is talking to new people. And I say this because speaking an talking to new people can get you a long way in life

Reflect on a time when u discovered a new perspective

One thing I have seen was the way people act because a lot of people are different
